1 year old baby vomiting after Prednisone?

My daughter took her 1st dose last night- and within an hour was vomiting. She did this about 5 times over 2 hours- the poor thing was so freaked out!!! Anyway we discontinued medicine for the night and she was also on amoxicillin so we werent sure which medicine it was. Well we gave the Prednisone this morning and within minutes was vomiting uncontrollably. The dr said "its because she doesnt like the taste" I found that ridiculous since she is 1 and continued vomiting for hours. BTW they are treating Bronchitis- any ideas... other medications she can have in lieu of prednisone!
