Proud flesh and Lime for treatment.?

its ok, chill out. proud flesh isnt bad its just a way for the wound to protect itself even if it has been a year its not like its going to grow all over her body. it may cause arthrities but it will not kill her and horses can be treated for arthritis by injecting the area or you can put them on a glucoseamine suppliment and that will help alot. i have a 18 year old gelding that was a stud for 12 years (very mean one to) and he has kicked walls his whole life and he has severe arthritis but i do reining and drill team on him. dont worry it will be fine :)
