What is a cute outfit for school?

I am going shopping for outfits that I can wear to school! Today I am going to Forever21, but I have no idea what kind of outfit I want! It has to be in the spring season because it is really nice outside (not cold not hot) and I want something ike shorts or a day dress. I am in 7th grade so it can't be... promiscuous... haha! Thanks!
