Do you believe the catfish is the culprit for the missing people and buffalo in the Kali River?

Apparently in the Kali River something is preying on people and buffalo, there are no crocodiles or sharks in the river. Natives have never seen the animal because the water is so murky. The victim is sucked underwater and drowned to death never to be seen again. The biggest catfish found in the Kali River is 7 foot which is not big enough to be a man eater but scientist Jeremy Wade believes the fish can grow bigger if there is enough food. One theory is that there is a freak of nature catfish that eat the dead corpses thrown into the river by the natives as part of their tradition. Still the case has not been solved and it still remains a mystery as to who the real culprit is?
